Short version: no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking. The assumptions you set stay in your browser.

Who is responsible

Your assumptions

When you change an assumption or switch views, the values are saved in your browser's local storage and in the page address, so they survive reloads and you can share them as a link. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes them; anyone you send a link to sees the values in it.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address, browser and the page requested, and may keep it briefly in logs. We don't use this data to identify or profile visitors. Cloudflare acts as our processor under its data processing terms; where data leaves the European Economic Area, those terms provide the safeguards the GDPR requires. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts and third parties

Fonts are served from this site, not from a font provider. Pages load no third-party scripts. Links to GitHub, evaluators' websites and spreadsheets take you to those sites, whose own privacy policies apply.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when they're no longer needed for that.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and object to or restrict its processing. Write to hello@charityevals.org. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If this changes, for example if we add privacy-friendly visitor counts, we'll update this page first.
